Phénix V — Debut Album
Official release: 21 October 2026
What Remains of Me
Some stories are told through words.
Others are perhaps better felt than explained.
Ce qu’il reste de moi — What Remains of Me — is my debut album as Phénix V.
Twelve songs in French that together tell one continuous story.
A story that actually began when I started writing Phoenix Journey.
During that time, I discovered how important it was for me to find ways to express what was happening inside me. At first, mainly through writing, and later increasingly through music.
Sometimes words helped me understand things. Music, on the other hand, could make me feel something I couldn’t always put into words.
And somewhere along the way, those two worlds began to come together.
Twelve Songs, One Story
This album is not a literal reconstruction of my life.
Nor is it a diary in which every event is presented in its exact chronological order.
It is more of a musical journey through emotions, memories, realisations and changes.
About the life we build. About what we can lose along the way. About love, expectations and sometimes forgetting ourselves in the process. But also about discovery, learning to feel again, finding ourselves and moving forward.
Each of the twelve songs tells its own story, but together they form something greater.
A story with a beginning, a journey and, ultimately, a conclusion.
That is why the order of the songs was chosen deliberately.
For Those Who Want to Discover the Story
Phoenix Journey now contains many personal stories. Not everyone has the time or the desire to read them all.
And that’s perfectly fine.
With this album, I wanted to create another way to share part of that same journey.
You don’t need to know my past to connect with the music.
You don’t even need to understand every French word to feel something.
Perhaps you will recognise something of yourself in a song. Perhaps a melody will awaken an emotion in you that is completely different from what I originally intended.
And that is part of its beauty.
Because once a story is shared, it can also take on a different meaning for someone else.
Closing a Chapter
For me, this album also carries a deeply personal meaning.
It brings together different periods, emotions and realisations that have occupied an important place in my life for a long time.
By turning them into music, I am, in a way, giving them a place of their own.
Not to remain trapped in the past.
But precisely to give that past its place and begin looking towards the future.
This album is therefore not the end of Phénix V.
It is the conclusion of a chapter.
And perhaps, above all, the beginning of a space for everything that is still to come.
Discover the Album, One Song at a Time
The final song on this album, Mon cœur reste ouvert, was released on 9 October 2026 as my first single.
But the story begins much earlier.
Starting 10 October, a new song will appear here every day, following the order in which the story unfolds.
For each song, you will find a short introduction, the original French lyrics and an English translation.
This way, you can follow the story, piece by piece, at your own pace.
On 21 October 2026, the complete album will officially be released on streaming platforms.
Twelve songs. One story.
Ce qu’il reste de moi.
What Remains of Me.
The Songs
The songs will automatically appear here as each new chapter is published.
