This is where Phoenix Journey began.
I never really felt that I wanted to write a book.
What I did feel was that there was something inside me that needed to come out.
Too many experiences.
Too many thoughts.
Too many questions tangled together.
My mind often moved faster than I could organise everything. I could think endlessly, make connections and return to certain events, but it was difficult to turn all of that into one clear story.
The book became a way to try.
Trying to understand a story
At first, writing was mainly a search for structure.
I wanted to understand what had happened, why certain things had affected me so deeply and how different periods of my life were connected.
That was also when I began using artificial intelligence.
Not to write my story for me, but as a tool to organise my thoughts, make certain connections visible and ask questions I might not have considered myself.
The first version therefore became quite analytical.
Clear. Structured. Logical.
But something was missing.
Me.
Closer to my own story
So I started again.
With less distance.
Less analysis as the starting point.
More of how I had actually experienced things.
The events remained the same, but the way I looked at them changed.
The story became more personal. More direct. Sometimes also more difficult to write.
But it came closer to what I had actually wanted to tell.
Not only what had happened, but also what it had done to me.
That book eventually became the foundation of Phoenix Journey.
The book was not the end
When the book was finished, my story obviously was not.
Life continued.
New events happened, new insights emerged and sometimes I began to look differently at things I had written before.
That is how this website came into being.
Phoenix Journey is the continuation of the book.
Here, the story continues to grow through new chapters and Deep Dives. Later, part of that story also took on another form: music, through Phénix V.
The book remains the starting point.
Not because everything written in it is definitive, but precisely because it shows where this journey began.
